Boston Scientific said an unauthorized activity on its IT systems first identified on August 25 disrupted manufacturing, sterilization and order processing, and it no longer expects to meet its previously issued third-quarter and full-year 2026 sales and adjusted profit targets. The company has restored major distribution centers and restarted most manufacturing, and expects to recover some lost revenue as it reduces backlogs.
