Hewlett Packard Enterprise reports strong demand in AI, cloud and networking

At the Citi Global TMT Conference 2026, Hewlett Packard Enterprise said demand in AI infrastructure, cloud and networking is unusually strong and reported a record gross margin of 40% in the third fiscal quarter of 2026. The company raised its 2027 outlook, expecting revenue growth of 13–17%, EPS growth of 16–20% and free cash flow of more than $5 billion. The Juniper integration is progressing better than expected, with planned cost synergies of $600 million by the end of 2028, and HPE intends to return at least 75% of free cash flow to shareholders. HPE raises revenue and profit targets sharply after strong quarter

After a quarter with rising revenue and profit, HPE raised its long-term targets: for the current fiscal year it now expects revenue growth of 34–37% (previously 29–33%), and for 2027 it expects 13–17% instead of 8–12%. For the full year HPE forecasts adjusted earnings per share of $3.75–3.85 (previously $3.35–3.45) and expects adjusted EPS growth of 16–20% for 2027.
