Transocean reported a firm two-year contract commitment with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG2, expected to start in Q1 2027 and worth about $300 million including services and mobilization. The agreement includes fixed-price options for two additional years that could extend deployment through early 2031.
