Zumtobel increases profit in Q1 2026 despite slight revenue decline

Zumtobel reports adjusted EBIT of €8.2 million and net profit of €4.2 million in the first quarter, while revenue fell slightly by 0.9% to €264.1 million. The EBIT margin rose to 3.1% thanks to price increases, cost reductions and efficiency measures; the share price then climbed 3.67% to $4.24. Zumtobel proposes dividend suspension after decline in sales and earnings

Zumtobel reports a decline in sales and a sharp drop in earnings for the 2025/26 financial year. The management board plans to propose to shareholders at the annual general meeting that the dividend distribution be suspended.
