Starbreeze: strategy shift pushes Q2 revenue down 52%

Starbreeze reports a 52% decline in second-quarter revenue to SEK 25.60 million after scaling back third‑party publishing to focus on the PAYDAY brand. EBITDA remained positive at SEK 3.40 million, but the pre‑tax result showed a loss of SEK 36.80 million and loss per share was SEK 0.02. Revenues from PAYDAY 2 rose while PAYDAY 3 fell due to less content, although player sentiment has improved; the company plans collaborations with PUBG, Roblox and Fortnite and another PAYDAY release on Roblox later this year.
