Sysco accelerates growth with AI program and acquisition of Restaurant Depot

Sysco confirmed its fiscal 2027 outlook (revenue +6–7%, EPS +9–11%) and raised its medium‑term targets, supported by an AI transformation program expected to boost the operating margin by USD 500m by 2029. Sysco stops buying iceberg lettuce from Mexico after cyclosporiasis outbreak

Sysco has halted the purchase and distribution of iceberg lettuce from Mexico after a cyclosporiasis outbreak was linked to iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms. CEO Kevin Hourican said the company is not buying from that supplier or from Mexico and is working to diversify sourcing.
