South Korea's antitrust authority has formally approved TPG's acquisition of a 61.18% majority stake in Lotte Rental (Lexico Korea Holdco). The transaction, worth around 1.3105 trillion ₩, transfers shares from Hotel Lotte and Busan Lotte Hotel and ends Lotte Rental's 11‑year affiliation with the Lotte Group. The FTC saw no competition‑relevant overlaps and classified the deal as a mixed merger; an earlier takeover attempt by Affinity had been blocked over competition concerns.
