Hyliion targets KARNO offering at data centers, customers must provide their own fuel
Hyliion makes data center operators responsible for procuring and storing the fuel needed for the KARNO energy module, with customers expected to use pipeline natural gas or on‑site stored diesel depending on availability. CEO Thomas Healy emphasizes the flexibility of the generators, which support more than 20 fuel sources, and says customers must run initial tests in their facilities before firm orders follow. Hyliion has pushed commercialization of the 200‑kW module to 2027, is advancing an 800‑kW module for the U.S. Navy in parallel, and recently reported revenue guidance of about $15 million and a net loss of $13.9 million. The company plans to significantly increase additive manufacturing capacity by 2027 to meet high demand; about 750 KARNO cores are in nonbinding letters of intent, more than half from data center operators. » Plus sur de.investing.com
Hyliion raises 2026 revenue forecast from $10 million to $15 million after strong Q2
Hyliion reported Q2 revenue of $4.94 million, clearly beating analysts’ estimates; loss per share was $0.08, in line with expectations. The company raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $15 million and reported cash of $132.4 million. Hyliion won a $41.7 million military contract, expects the first on-site deployment of the KARNO system next quarter, and plans to produce about 10 KARNO cores by the end of 2026. Despite strong revenue growth, gross margins remain low, and production/scaling and converting demand into recurring revenue are key risks. » Plus sur de.investing.com
Hyliion beats Q1 forecasts, stock rises 18% premarket
Hyliion reported Q1 2026 EPS of -$0.07 (expected -$0.08) and revenue of $2.8 million versus expected $1.15 million. Revenue increased 400% quarter-on-quarter, and operating expenses fell 32% year-on-year. The company received UL certification for the KARNO power module, confirmed full-year revenue guidance of around $10 million, and expects a cash balance of roughly $100 million at year-end. Remaining risks include ongoing net losses, reliance on future military contracts, and potential supply-chain bottlenecks. » Plus sur de.investing.com
