Metlen signs ten-year power purchase agreement with Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon
Metlen has agreed a strategic ten-year power purchase agreement with Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon for the supply of green energy from an approximately 12-MW photovoltaic plant in Mikro Perivolaki, Velestino. The plant is expected to deliver about 16.5 GWh of electricity per year and supports Coca-Cola HBC's goal to reach net-zero emissions by 2040. Metlen operates roughly 0.5 GW of renewable capacity in Greece (projects of 11.4 GW worldwide) and its share price rose about 2.5% after the announcement. » Plus sur de.investing.com
Metlen Energy & Metals spins off concessions and public-private partnership business into subsidiary M Concessions
Metlen Energy & Metals is transferring its concessions and public-private partnership (PPP) operations from its subsidiary Metlen Energy & Metals Single-Member S.A. to the new wholly owned subsidiary M Concessions Single-Member S.A. Business activities, assets, liabilities, project interests, personnel and ongoing tenders will be transferred; the underlying partial balance sheet is dated 31 December 2025. The share capital of M Concessions will be increased by issuing 105,064,218 new registered common shares at €1.00 each, to be taken up by the parent. A valuation report has been commissioned; the general meeting of the transferring subsidiary is expected to approve the transaction by 30 September 2026. Metlen buys Joule to strengthen digital energy services
Metlen has acquired Greek energy-software specialist Joule and is integrating Joule’s jHub platform for remote monitoring, control and optimization of renewable and storage portfolios. The platform is intended to support Metlen’s aggregator business, which manages about 1,450 assets totaling 3 GW and recently added two storage units with 378 MW. Metlen plans to use Joule’s expertise in product development, engineering and go-to-market to expand applications for storage management, dispatchable assets and commercial hybrid-portfolio management.
