Deutsche Bank starts coverage with buy recommendation for Spie and target €57

Deutsche Bank initiated coverage of Spie with a buy recommendation and a price target of €57, citing improved growth prospects, structural demand from electrification and decarbonization, and potential for margin expansion. The bank views Spie as the market-leading provider of multitechnical services in Europe and expects a turning point in organic growth by 2028. Spie reported around €5.16 billion in revenue for H1 2026 at the end of July, an EBITA margin increase of 20 basis points to 6.2%, and adjusted net profit growth of almost 12%. SPIE signs European framework agreement with Tesla for battery storage solutions

SPIE has signed a three-year European framework agreement with Tesla to implement Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The contract applies to SPIE subsidiaries with BESS installation capabilities and standardizes legal and operational conditions for Tesla Megapack projects. SPIE will provide engineering, balance-of-plant services, high- and medium-voltage connections, additional system installation and commissioning, building on references in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. SPIE reports 5.4% revenue growth in nine months, shares fall despite confirmed outlook

SPIE generated €7.5bn in revenue in the first nine months of 2025, up 5.4% (organic 2.2%, acquisitions 3.6%). For 2025 the company confirms revenue above €10bn and a targeted EBITA margin of at least 7.6%, and proposes a dividend of around 40%. Regional differences shaped the result: Germany and Northwest Europe grew strongly, while France and Global Services Energy underperformed.
