Daimler Truck Defence, together with Mercedes‑Benz Powertrain, will export engine components to Poland and support local companies with assembly and service. A letter of intent with the Polish defence technology group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa was signed at the MSPO in Kielce. Morgan Stanley downgraded Daimler Truck from overweight to equal-weight and raised the target price from €47 to €50. The bank cites a tactical downgrade due to profit-taking after an approximately 50% rally and the ninth month of the North American truck order cycle, which analysts view as close to its peak. At the same time, Morgan Stanley raised its earnings forecasts for 2027 and 2028 and expects rising margins in North America, but sees a less attractive risk-reward profile.
