Melco Resorts reaches 52-week low of $5.07 after Q2 disappointment

Melco Resorts’ stock fell to a 52-week low of $5.07 and is down about 48.9% year-to-date. In Q2 2026 the company missed expectations with earnings of $0.02 per share (expectation $0.09) and revenue of $1.25 billion (expectation $1.28 billion). The shortfall was driven by lower visitor numbers, a lower hold rate and a weaker VIP win rate, which pushed adjusted property EBITDA down to around $304 million. Melco Resorts & Entertainment extended the maturity of its revolving credit facilities from April 2027 to June 2031 and added an incremental facility of about $821.6 million, increasing total commitment to roughly $2.77 billion under a third amended and restated agreement. The deal preserves the pricing and financial covenants of the original 2020 facility and involves customary fees paid by subsidiary MCO Nominee One Limited to participating lenders.
