Shutterstock has appointed three new members to its board of directors: Timothy Adams, Matthew Salzberg and Michael Thompson. Adams brings CFO experience from Validity, Rapid7 and BitSight as well as board experience. Salzberg is a co‑founder of Unlimited and Blue Apron and has operational and IPO experience. Thompson is managing partner at Reinvent Capital and serves on several technology boards. Shutterstock shares climbed about 4.7% after the company announced a content connector for Anthropic’s Claude AI platform. Customers will be able to access Shutterstock’s library of images, video, music and sound effects directly through Claude and purchase licenses. Paul Hennessy has resigned as CEO and board member with immediate effect. The board appointed CFO Rik Powell as interim CEO; he will retain his CFO responsibilities during the transition.
