Breedon Group appoints Louis Eperjesi as non-executive director

Breedon Group is appointing Louis Eperjesi to its board of directors, effective early 2027. Eperjesi will join the audit and risk, remuneration, nominations and sustainability committees and brings leadership experience as former CEO of Tyman and from roles at Kingspan, Baxi, Lafarge and Caradon. Breedon calls for urgent reforms to UK's CO2 border adjustment

Breedon urges the government to quickly establish clear rules before the UK CBAM comes into force on 1 January 2027 and lists five priority areas. The company demands early publication of CBAM rates and cement-specific default values for 2026, and inclusion of the cement industry in compensation schemes to offset electricity cost differences. Breedon boosts revenue by 9% despite volume decline thanks to cost cuts

Breedon reports revenue for 2025 of £1,714m (+9%), while adjusted EBITDA of £278.8m implied a margin of 16.3% (‑80 basis points). The Lionmark acquisition and other M&A contributed to revenue growth but diluted margins; operational cost savings of more than £20m helped offset parts of the volume decline.
