Allianz share falls after record high – 50-day line decisive

After the recent all-time high of €454.60, Allianz shares corrected and fell to as low as €434.60. The stock is approaching the 50-day line at €433.60; if this support holds, the bullish picture remains intact. A sustained break would likely extend the correction toward €410 (100-day moving average) and then around €392 (200-day moving average). Barclays downgrades Allianz to "Underweight" despite small target-price increase

Barclays remains skeptical on Allianz and keeps the rating at "Underweight", but raises the price target only marginally from €350 to €353. The investment bank views the European insurance sector as broadly unattractive, arguing that lower major losses and valuations mask operational weaknesses and there is a lack of clear share-price drivers.
