Coronado Global Resources saw its average realized group price rise 9.1% to $133 per tonne in Q1 2026; metallurgical coal increased 11% to $165 per tonne. Coronado Global achieved record production volumes in the second half of 2025 and realized cost savings of about $160 million, positioning the operation in the lower cost quartile. At year-end the company had a cash balance of $173 million and improved the quality of its high-yield bonds. For 2026 Coronado is targeting capital expenditures of $150–175 million and expects up to $400 million in additional inflows from operational improvements and possible increases in coal prices.
