Dauch targets $70m run-rate synergies by end-2026 after Dana takeover

At the Jefferies conference Dauch said integration of Dana is proceeding as planned and initial synergies are taking shape; the target is $70m in run-rate savings by the end of 2026 as part of a three-year plan totaling $300m. The company reports active bidding opportunities of over $2bn and a leverage ratio of 2.6x, which it aims to reduce primarily with cash flow to 2.5x. Dana reports stronger Q2 results, raises guidance and restarts buybacks ahead of Eaton Mobility split-off

Dana posted Q2 sales of $2.01 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $207 million, a 10.3% margin, driven by pricing, cost savings and improved commercial vehicle demand. Dana reported Q2 revenue of $2.01 billion, topping consensus, while diluted adjusted EPS of $0.19 fell well short of the $0.66 expectation. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $207 million and the margin improved to 10.3%. The company raised full-year guidance for revenue, adjusted EBITDA (around $825 million) and free cash flow, but cut its EPS forecast to roughly $2.00 due to higher depreciation, interest expenses and lower JV earnings in China.
