DiaSorin share falls after UBS downgrade and increased competitive pressure

DiaSorin reports revenue decline in Q1, confirms full-year guidance

DiaSorin recorded a revenue decline in the first quarter of 2026 (constant -3%, nominal -8%) and an EPS of $0.85, which missed analysts’ estimates, weighed down by negative currency effects, pricing pressure in China and a mild flu season. Despite the setbacks, management is maintaining the full-year guidance and expects currency-adjusted revenue growth of 5–6% and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 32–33%, supported by investments in the LIAISON NES and PLEX platforms. DiaSorin confirms stable growth for 2025 and expects acceleration in 2026

DiaSorin reports 2025 revenue of €1,195m (+1%) and maintains an adjusted EBITDA margin of 33%. Excluding COVID-related sales, core business grew by 5%, driven by immunodiagnostics (€785m, +7% ex‑COVID) and a strong performance in North America, while China remained pressured by VBP implementation and reimbursement cuts. Molecular diagnostics showed mixed trends; automated multiplexing softened, targeted molecular diagnostics grew strongly, and new panels as well as the LIAISON PLEX/NES launches are expected to boost 2026.
