Dyne Therapeutics presents preclinical data on four DMD candidates
Dyne Therapeutics will present preclinical data for four investigational therapies (DYNE-253, DYNE-245, DYNE-244, DYNE-255) for Duchenne muscular dystrophy at the 27th annual meeting of the Neuromuscular Study Group. The candidates target exon-skipping for exons 53, 45, 44, and 55, respectively. All four are in studies relevant to IND-enabling submissions, and the presentation includes in vitro exon-skipping data; DYNE-253 data also include in vivo pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic results, including dystrophin levels in the Del52 mouse model. The therapies are based on the FORCE platform, which is also used for DYNE-251 (zeleciment rostudirsen), whose approval for exon-51 mutations is currently under FDA review.
