HelloFresh faces class action alleging abuse, discrimination and denial of bathroom breaks at Newark facility

Workers at HelloFresh’s Newark distribution center allege in an amended class action that temp and HelloFresh supervisors verbally and physically abused primarily Hispanic workers, denied regular bathroom breaks, confiscated ID badges, threatened immigration enforcement and sexually harassed employees. HelloFresh denies the allegations, says it conducted an internal investigation finding the claims without merit, and has moved to dismiss the suit along with staffing agencies. Active Ownership Opportunities SCS bought a further 176,606 HelloFresh shares on 02.10.2026 at a price of EUR 2.34 each; the transaction was disclosed on 05.10.2026. Already on 30.09.2026 the investor had purchased 158,204 shares at EUR 2.34 each. BaFin was informed of a proprietary transaction at HelloFresh: on 30 September 2026 an executive in the portfolio of Active Ownership Opportunities SCS acquired 158,204 shares at EUR 2.34 each. After the disclosure, the HelloFresh share briefly rose to EUR 2.43 in FSE trading on increased volume.
