Huber+Suhner is buying the Connected-Intelligence business from Motion Applied, thereby expanding its rail-communications offering to include software. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals; the purchase price and closing date were not disclosed. Connected Intelligence, based in Woking, employs around 45 people and is to be integrated into Huber+Suhner’s transport segment after closing. Huber+Suhner confirmed its 2026 targets and presented a strategy focused on industry, communication and transport. The company named aerospace/defence, data centers, rail communications and electric vehicles as strategic growth areas, each with annual revenue potential of over 100 million Swiss francs and expected average growth rates of more than 10%. Particular emphasis is on the data center business: capacities have been significantly expanded, production and storage space quadrupled, and automation lines commissioned in Pisary.
