Huntsman’s stock climbed to $15.88, marking a new 52-week high after rising 51.84% year-to-date. The company completed the sale of its Italian automotive unit Gomet to Trelleborg for about $50 million. Huntsman: cost cuts take effect, net leverage rises to 6.1x

Huntsman reported slightly higher revenue in Q1 2026 at $1.42 billion with adjusted EBITDA nearly flat at $73 million, while net loss widened to $53 million. The company exceeded its cost-cutting target with annualized savings of about $110 million, sharply cut the dividend and improved free cash flow. Net leverage, however, rose from 4.0x to 6.1x, prompting credit-rating downgrades; liquidity fell to $867 million.
