Mitsubishi Chemical forms joint venture with Accenture for AI-supported corporate platform

Mitsubishi Chemical and Accenture have established the joint venture Rix Business Partners, which launched on May 1 through the subsidiary DIA-RIX and is based in Marunouchi, Tokyo. Mitsubishi Chemical holds 81% of the shares and Accenture 19%. The company, led by Shinichi Nakata, employs 255 people. Mitsubishi Chemical misses profit forecast by wide margin, shares jump despite revenue gain

Mitsubishi Chemical reported EPS of -68.07 yen versus an expected 10.65 yen, thus missing the forecast by a wide margin. Quarterly revenue was 966.71 billion yen, slightly above expectations of 946.39 billion yen. The stock rose 8.48% to 1,007 yen. Mitsubishi Chemical: revenue falls 8%, net profit rises 77% after divestment effect

Mitsubishi Chemical reported a Q3 FY2025 revenue decline of 8% to ¥2,737.3 billion, while net profit attributable to owners rose 77% to ¥105.4 billion, mainly due to the sale of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma. Core operating income fell slightly by 2% to ¥185.6 billion; operating income declined more sharply.
