Nexi rises after better-than-expected half-year results and confirmed full-year guidance

Nexi reports results above expectations: second-quarter revenue was €915m, and net revenue for the first half was €1,736m (+1% reported, organic growth around 5%). EBITDA remained at €870m (margin 50.1%), normalized pre-tax profit rose 6.6% to €542m, and €400m of excess cash was generated, substantially reducing gross debt. State investor CDP Equity to increase stake in Nexi to up to 29.9%

CDP Equity announced it will significantly expand its stake in Nexi and raise its holding to up to 29.9%, partly through derivative-backed subscriptions linked to 8% of the capital. The aim is to stabilize the shareholder structure after the exit of Advent and Bain Capital; a takeover offer was ruled out. Nexi reports Q1 revenue rise despite mixed segment performance

Nexi reported Q1 2026 revenue growth of 1% to €821m, slightly above the consensus of €815m. Issuing Solutions grew 5% to €278m, Merchant Solutions fell 1.4% to €460m (adjusted +3% excluding bank contracts) and Digital Banking rose 3%. EBITDA increased 3% to €397m with a margin of 48.3%, both metrics above expectations; net debt remained at €4.9bn (2.5x LTM EBITDA).
