Prosus reports that orders at its stake Just Eat Takeaway increased by 0.1% year on year in September, ending a 55‑month run of declining orders. Improved technology, optimized logistics and a better customer experience contributed to the growth, and further gains are expected. Prosus also reports about 80% market share for iFood in Brazil, improved profitability at OLX, more than 20% growth at Despegar, and a profitable, scaling PayU. At the annual general meeting, Prosus approved a dividend of €0.28 per share for 2026, a 40% increase from the previous year. The total distribution amounts to €438.41 million; the ex-dividend date is 27 August 2026 and payment will be made shortly thereafter. For 2026 this corresponds to a dividend yield of 0.72%; the real return over five years is 21.60% (price gain 15.43%). Prosus has proposed Pedro Arnt as an independent, non-executive member of the board and will put him up for election at a special meeting. Arnt is to join the audit and risk committees. He is currently CEO of dLocal, was long-serving CFO at MercadoLibre and was recently appointed to the board of Naspers.
