Talos Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 50% interest in Repsol’s offshore Block 29. Terms include a contingent payment of $30m upon a final investment decision (FID), funding up to $20m for the next exploration well, and reimbursement of certain pre-closing costs.
