THG warns of slower growth after tariff change, shares fall sharply

THG shares fell about 13.4% to 27.44 pence after the company published interim results for H1 2026. Revenue rose on a constant-currency basis to £828.7m (+7.2%) and adjusted EBITDA doubled to £42.8m, but management’s warning that the abolition of the EU de-minimis rule and the introduction of a flat €3 fee per parcel will dampen Q3 revenue growth to around 2% unsettled investors. THG Beauty is expected to be particularly affected; additionally weighed down were an outstanding VAT claim in Nutrition of £60m and net debt of £329.7m. THG reports strong first half of 2026 – shares fall

THG increased revenue in H1 2026 by 7.2% to £828.7m and doubled adjusted EBITDA to £42.8m. Myprotein sold 58.5 million units (+57%) and management is targeting positive free cash flow of £25–35m for 2026 as well as a reduction in leverage by the end of 2027. Despite improved profitability, the share fell about 6.8% to $29.53 as investors await sustained evidence of growth amid uncertainties over asset disposals and supply‑chain and customs concerns. THG returns to profit in 2025 thanks to strong second half

THG reported a 2.3% revenue increase for the 2025 financial year to £1.72 billion and an operating profit of £8.1 million after a prior-year loss. Adjusted EBITDA was £76.6 million (4.5% of revenue); the second half beat analyst expectations by around 15%. The company reduced debt, extended credit facilities to 2029 and completed the demerger of THG Ingenuity.
