VGP reports €141m pre-tax profit in H1 2026 and rising leasing

VGP posted a pre-tax profit of €140.9m in the first half of 2026 and earnings per share of €4.26. Contracted annualised rental income rose to €496m; management expects to exceed the €500m mark in September. Portfolio occupancy is 98%; the balance sheet shows €599m in cash and over €1bn in total liquidity. VGP share falls 6% after €250 million capital increase

The VGP share fell about 6% after the completion of a €250 million capital increase carried out via an accelerated bookbuilding process. The new shares were issued at €81.8 each, a discount of 5.76% to the previous day’s closing price. VGP presents mixed 2025 annual results: recurring earnings per share rise 33%

VGP reports recurring earnings per share of €3.76 for 2025 (+33%), 6% above analysts’ estimates, and proportional gross rents of €247.4m (+17%). Proportional operating profit including valuation gains rose 9% to €433m but remained 17% below expectations, and net profit of €290m (€10.64 per share) was 23% below forecasts. The company completed 21 projects, is building 43 more adding 1.05m m², and increased land reserves to 10.3m m².
