Gran Tierra Energy is seeking the consent of holders of its 9.75% senior secured notes (due 2031) to amendments that would enable a previously announced sale of assets to Établissements Maurel et Prom. The changes would allow the buyer to assume the obligations under the notes, release certain collateral and partially modify accounting and reporting requirements, while the notes’ interest rate and maturity would remain unchanged.
