VW negotiates joint venture with JSW to boost market share in India

Volkswagen is in talks with Indian industrial conglomerate JSW about a joint venture to expand its portfolio, local sourcing and production in India. VW currently has only around two percent market share in India, while the market is growing strongly. Revenue fell by 6.6% quarter-on-quarter to 2,277.2 million PLN, EBITDA remained negative at -365.9 million PLN, and the net loss narrowed to -712.0 million PLN.
