NiSource hits new all-time high at $44.97
NiSource shares climbed to a new all-time high of $44.97, just above the previous 52-week high. According to InvestingPro, the stock is currently trading above its fair value; it rose 19.85% over the past year and has a beta of 0.65 and a market capitalization of $21.45 billion. NiSource has paid dividends for 40 years and currently offers a yield of 2.7%; the board approved a quarterly dividend of $0.30, payable on February 20, 2026 (record date February 3). Analyst reactions: Mizuho raised its price target to $50 (outperform) after the announcement of a $15 billion data-center project for Amazon, while Jefferies slightly cut its target to $49 (buy). NiSource shares fall after resignations at Indiana utility commission, Genco spinoff may be delayed
NiSource shares lost about 6% after it emerged that two members of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and the consumer advocate resigned. Citigroup analyst Ryan Levine warns that the personnel changes could delay or alter approval or the timeline for the planned spinoff of data-center unit Genco.
