Sampo buys back 4.3 million A shares in week 37
Sampo repurchased 4,266,170 of its own A shares in the week of 7–11 September at a weighted average price of €9.51, of which 2,616,863 were bought on the Helsinki exchange at €9.50 and 1,223,069 via CEUX at €9.52. The purchases are part of the share buyback programme launched on 6 May with a maximum volume of €350 million. Sampo acquired 1,477,588 of its own A shares in the week from 31 August to 4 September at a volume‑weighted average price of €9.74 across four trading venues, of which 758,700 were on the Helsinki exchange. Sampo Group raises 2026 full-year forecast after strong Q2
Sampo Group raised its 2026 full-year forecast after a strong first half and a robust Q2, with comparable premium growth of 5% and a currency-adjusted increase in the underwriting result of 5%. Net investment income amounted to EUR 360m in Q2, and the solvency ratio remained stable at 174%.
