Straumann share under pressure after downgrade by Deutsche Bank
The Straumann share initially opened noticeably higher but reversed intraday and traded around 102 CHF after Deutsche Bank downgraded its rating to "Hold" and cut the price target from 119 to 99 CHF. The bank cited a high valuation (about 26× expected 2027 earnings) and execution risk around the upcoming CEO change. JPMorgan, Barclays and BMO remained largely constructive (JPMorgan raised its target to 136 CHF), but the divergent analyst views are weighing on a recovery. Straumann had previously reported 8.5% organic revenue growth for Q2 and raised its forecast for core EBIT margin improvement by 140–170 basis points. » More on de.investing.com
