  • Sberbank to accept Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether as loan collateral

Sberbank plans to accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT) as collateral for loans, deputy chairman Anatoly Popov said, but only as security and not as a means of payment. Retail investors face a 300,000‑ruble annual cap per intermediary, while corporate borrowers have no limit. Sberbank provided no loan‑to‑value, interest rates or launch date and must manage volatility and liquidation risk if borrowers default. » More on finance.yahoo.com
