Alexandria posts narrower net loss but FFO per share declines amid occupancy pressure
Alexandria reported a Q2 2026 net loss per share of $0.43, improved from $0.64 a year earlier, while adjusted FFO per share fell to $1.73 from $2.33. Leasing activity increased and liquidity and debt maturities look solid, but operating occupancy and same-property NOI declined sharply year over year. Net leverage remains elevated at about 7.0x adjusted EBITDA and the company’s path to its 5.6x–6.2x target depends on $2.9 billion of planned dispositions. Alexandria maintained its $0.72 quarterly dividend as it evaluates several development projects and impairment impacts. » More on finance.yahoo.com

Alexandria Real Estate Equities reported Q2 revenue of $662.78 million (slightly above expectations) and adjusted EPS of -$0.43, well below the consensus forecast of $0.14. Occupancy fell to 86.9% and same-property NOI declined sharply, while leasing activity increased 60% versus the prior quarter. Management reaffirmed 2026 FFO guidance at a midpoint of $6.40 and narrowed the range; the stock fell sharply in after-hours trading. Risks remain from weak publicly traded biotech tenants, leases expiring in 2027 and high construction costs. » More on de.investing.com
