Contango reports high-grade gold intervals in Alaska drill holes
Contango reports high-grade gold intervals at its Lucky Shot project in Alaska, including drill hole LSS26016 with 2.45 m at 86.05 g/t gold (including 0.80 m at 244.30 g/t and 0.30 m at 49.96 g/t) and LSS26003 with 0.50 m at 81.57 g/t. Five of seven reported holes contained visible gold. As of August 27 the company has completed about 5,700 m of the planned 6,000 m of surface drilling; underground development is roughly 40% complete and the West Drift Extension was finished on schedule, with two previously unmodeled veins (KM2, KM3) discovered. Samples up to 395.10 g/t were reported but are selective and not representative; Lucky Shot remains an exploration-stage project with no declared reserves. » More on de.investing.com

Contango Silver & Gold misses Q2 EPS, but confirms improved production outlook for H2 2026
Contango Silver & Gold reported adjusted EPS of $0.14 for Q2 2026, missing the consensus estimate of $0.655; nevertheless, the stock rose 3.54%. The company maintained its annual production guidance of 40,000–45,000 ounces and expects rising production in H2 thanks to higher‑grade ore from the South pit. Contango has $89 million in cash, unwound its hedge book in July, and confirms a 2026 cash‑cost target range of $1,900–2,000 per ounce versus $2,665 in H1. Risks remain high first‑half costs, dependence on the gold price, and development risks at projects such as Lucky Shot, Kitsault Valley and Johnson Tract. » More on de.investing.com
