Cosmos Health subsidiary Cana secures five-year manufacturing contract for rosuvastatin
Cana Laboratories has signed a five-year contract manufacturing agreement with Viofar for around 2.5 million units of the cholesterol drug ROSARTIA (rosuvastatin), with annual production of about 500,000 units in various dosages. The order increases Cana’s cumulative contract manufacturing backlog from over 25 million to more than 27.5 million units and expands the production portfolio to include cardiovascular medicines. Cosmos Health receives first orders for veterinary product line C-ScrubVet
Cosmos Health reports receipt of initial orders for C-ScrubVet Wash 4% CHDG, an antimicrobial veterinary product for dogs, cats and horses. The 500-ml bottles are certified to EN 1656 and EN 1657; distribution began in the United Kingdom and is planned to expand to other European markets from Q4 2026. Production takes place at Cana Laboratories in Athens; distribution follows a multichannel strategy via e-commerce, pet specialty retailers and veterinary clinics. Cosmos Health repays $8 million convertible note a year before maturity
Cosmos Health has fully repaid a senior secured $8.0 million convertible note with a 9% coupon that was issued in August 2025, twelve months before its August 2027 maturity. The early repayment prevents potential conversions and equity dilution; the company has also withdrawn its S-1 and S-3 registration statements and currently has no shelf registration or at‑the‑market program. Operating cash burn in H1 2026 was more than 30% below the two‑year average, total liabilities fell by $6.27 million in Q2, and shareholders’ equity rose by 12.2%.
