Delta overhauls Delta One with new suites, menus and expanded Porsche transfer fleet

Delta is revamping its Delta One premium cabin with new lie-flat suites on incoming A350-1000s, larger screens, updated crockery, Missoni pillows and refreshed food and beverage menus that include Champagne over sorbet and Blanton's bourbon. The airline is expanding its Porsche VIP transfer fleet from 40 to 70 vehicles to meet rising demand and will roll out many new items on routes from Los Angeles this month. Delta Air Lines delays launch of Atlanta–Riyadh nonstop to March after Riyadh airport attacks

Delta Air Lines will postpone the start of its nonstop Atlanta–Riyadh service, originally set for Oct. 23, until March due to deadly attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport. The assaults, claimed by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis, have caused widespread cancellations, including about half of Riyadh's schedule, and killed and injured passengers and staff. The FAA has warned U.S. carriers to exercise caution in or around Saudi airspace through Dec. 10; Delta says it is coordinating with government and aviation partners and remains committed to the Saudi market. » More on cnbc.com
