Entrée Resources has appointed Chris Adams as president and chief executive officer effective Thursday; he succeeds Stephen Scott, who is stepping down after more than ten years and will serve as an adviser to the company during the transition. Adams has served as a non-executive director since January 2026 and brings more than 35 years of experience in mining finance, most recently as head of Mining Finance for North and South America at Macquarie, with prior investment banking roles at Macquarie and CIBC. Entrée holds a carried interest in the Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project in Mongolia (20% or 30% depending on the depth of the mineralization); Royal Gold and Rio Tinto are significant shareholders.
