Plug Power secures 280-megawatt supply contract with Arcadia eFuels and becomes preferred supplier for more than one gigawatt
Plug Power has signed a supply contract for 280 megawatts of electrolysis capacity for Project ENDOR in Vordingborg with Arcadia eFuels; delivery will only take place after a final investment decision and the start of construction. A parallel cooperation agreement makes Plug the preferred supplier for further Arcadia projects in Europe and the Americas with a combined potential of more than one gigawatt and grants priority access to manufacturing capacity. The 280 MW were already in the pipeline in 2023; the project is not yet finally approved and the specific revenue impact depends on the schedule and construction clearance. The announcement strengthens market sentiment and aligns with Plug Powerâs ongoing restructuring strategy, which aims for improved gross margin and a target of positive EBITDAS in the fourth quarter. » More on finanzen.net
Plug Power receives 280 MW order for electrolyzers in Denmark
Plug Power is to supply 280 MW of electrolyzers for the Danish Project ENDOR to produce synthetic aviation fuel together with captured CO2. A strategic agreement also names Plug as the preferred supplier for four additional Arcadia projects in Europe and the Americas, potentially totaling more than 1 GW of capacity. Deliveries and the additional orders are contingent on project progress and final investment decisions; Plug gave no information on contract values or schedules. The stock reacted in pre-market trading with an increase of about five percent. » More on deraktionaer.de
Plug Power faces mixed outlook after Goldman oil warning
Goldman Sachs raises its oil price forecast and, in a risk scenario, sees prices up to $120 per barrel, sparking discussion about the implications for hydrogen stocks like Plug Power. A sustained high oil price could favor electrolyzer suppliers, while companies with more fossil-fuelâcentric value chains would benefit only to a limited extent. Although Plug Power is expected to deliver revenue growth, it remains operationally loss-making and vulnerable to deteriorating financing conditions. Investors should watch for a prolonged period of high oil prices, developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the upcoming quarterly results. » More on finanzen.net
