Royal Gold strengthens diversification and growth after acquisition of Sandstorm
At the Jefferies conference, Royal Gold said the acquisition of Sandstorm increased company scale, significantly reduced concentration risk and created a broader pipeline of growth-focused projects. Management reports faster debt reduction, sales of non-core investments, and is prioritizing dividend growth, selective share buybacks and new royalty and streaming deals while preserving liquidity for large transactions. Operational progress at Platreef, Hod Maden, Mara and Antamina and an expanded revolving credit facility support the outlook; the transaction pipeline for royalty and streaming deals remains active. » More on de.investing.com
Royal Gold posts strong Q2 as gold, silver and copper rebound
Royal Gold reported robust second-quarter results with revenue up 56.5% to $450 million and adjusted EPS of $2.56, while record operating cash flow rose to $335.2 million. The company's streams and royalties benefited from rising metal prices, with revenue mix of 76% gold, 12% silver and 8% copper. Management and the author cite continued demand for copper and silver from AI/data-center buildouts and macro drivers for gold as reasons to expect further upside in commodity prices. » More on finance.yahoo.com
Royal Gold posts doubled profits and adds buybacks despite rising costs
Royal Gold reported Q2 2026 revenue of $451 million, operating cash flow of $335 million and net income of $236 million, increases of 115%, 119% and 79% year‑over‑year, respectively. Management raised dividends, repurchased $30 million of shares and is rapidly paying down revolver debt with liquidity of $1.2 billion at quarter end. The company says 2025 acquisitions have diversified revenue, but depreciation, depletion and amortization, higher G&A and interest expenses, plus a $22 million advance from the Relief Canyon settlement and temporary Chilean mine disruptions, cloud repeatability. Hedge fund ownership increased and the stock trades at a forward P/E of about 21.5, implying the market prices continued earnings growth rather than a deep discount. » More on finance.yahoo.com
