  • Sezzle after share plunge: TD Cowen upgrades stock to Buy and backs recovery

Sezzle shares are recovering in premarket trading after TD Cowen upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy with a $165 price target. The upgrade follows strong Q2 results (revenue +51% to $149.7m; adjusted EPS $1.13), which had been followed by an almost 34% share decline due to tempered growth expectations for the second half. B. Riley raised its price target to $172, management increased adjusted full‑year 2026 profit to $185m and raised the EPS outlook to $5.25; new products such as SezzleCash and Sezzle Send were introduced. Investors remain cautious about credit risks and the sustainability of BNPL growth, while the stock trades well below its 52‑week high. » More on de.investing.com

  • Sezzle posts record quarter and raises guidance, stock plunges 34%

Sezzle reported Q2 revenue up 51.7% year over year to $149.7 million, net income of $40.8 million and active subscribers up 76.4%, and raised full-year revenue guidance to 35% growth and adjusted EPS to $5.25. The stock fell about 33.9% after investors focused on the implied slower second-half pace (around 31% growth) versus the headline quarterly rate and a valuation repricing. At the post‑drop price the shares trade nearer 22x guided adjusted earnings versus roughly 34x before the decline. » More on finance.yahoo.com
