SFL reaches 52-week high of $12.94 after strong quarterly results

SFL shares rose to a 52-week high of $12.94, 92% above the low of $6.73; year-to-date gains are about 72%. SFL extends seven-year charters for six 15,400-TEU containerships with Hapag-Lloyd

SFL has extended the time-charter agreements for six 15,400 TEU containerships to Hapag-Lloyd by seven years to 2035–2036 at fixed rates. The new contracts increase the backlog from fixed-rate charter agreements by around USD 750 million and bring total backlog as of 30 June 2026 to about USD 4.6 billion. CEO Ole B. Booming tanker rates push SFL profit well above forecast in second quarter

SFL reported a Q2 2026 net profit of $34m ($0.25 per share), comfortably above the forecast of $0.075. Revenue rose to $201m (+15.3%), and adjusted EBITDA climbed to $130m, driven mainly by the tanker segment, where Suezmax spot rates increased to $133,000/day.
