SL Green: record leasing in Q1 does not withstand rising earnings pressure
SL Green reported record-high leasing in Manhattan in Q1 2026 and a leased occupancy of 94.4%, but despite higher revenues posted a net loss of $84.4 million and missed earnings forecasts by a wide margin. FFO and FAD fell sharply year-on-year, operating costs rose significantly and led to a dividend cut to $2.47 annually to strengthen capital flexibility. Management is pursuing balance-sheet optimization, portfolio sales and refinancings, and aims to restore dividend coverage by 2028 while targeting year-end leasing and occupancy goals. » More on de.investing.com
