Sylvania Platinum launches $1.5m share buyback program
Sylvania Platinum has launched a share buyback program to return up to $1.5 million of capital. Panmure Liberum will execute purchases on the exchange, including the authority to buy during closed trading periods. Repurchases will be funded from existing cash and limited daily to 25% of the average daily trading volume (20 days). The program is effective immediately and will run until the volume is exhausted or, at the latest, until 31 March 2027; purchases will be disclosed on the next business day. » More on de.investing.com
Sylvania Platinum doubles revenue after production and price increases
Sylvania Platinum reports net revenue of $99.8m (+110%) for the six months to 31 December 2025, driven by 25% higher 4E‑PGM production and a 55% higher average basket price. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $51.0m (+414%), net profit to $23.2m; cash balance was $54.0m. Sylvania Platinum reports best workplace safety record and expanded ESG reporting
Sylvania Platinum recorded its best workplace safety performance in the year to 30 June 2025: Eastern Operations went a full year without injuries and Doornbosch reached 13 years without a lost‑time injury. The ESG report shows progress on environmental initiatives, including improved water flow measurement and sustainable rehabilitation of tailings facilities, and for the first time includes scope‑3 emissions.
