Trex raises 2026 sales forecast and accelerates ramp-up of Little Rock plant
At a Goldman Sachs conference Trex saw improved demand, raised its 2026 sales forecast to mid-single-digit growth and is targeting about $1.25 billion in annual revenue. The company is accelerating the ramp-up of the new Little Rock plant and expects roughly 50% capacity utilization by the end of 2026. In the near term Trex expects margin pressure from write-downs on the plant and lower margins in the railing business, but sees margins intact over the long term and is targeting $2 billion in revenue by 2030. Operationally Trex is focusing on lower-priced product lines, a new sales structure with SBP, and investments in recycling, automation and digital tools to shift market share from wood to composites. » More on de.investing.com
Trex unveils growth plan to displace wood and bets on new Little Rock plant
At the Jefferies Global Conference, Trex announced a stronger growth focus aimed at taking market share from wood decking, broadening its product range and deploying capital aggressively for M&A and share buybacks. The company highlighted the early opening of the Little Rock plant as a low-cost manufacturing site and raised its annual growth outlook to about 5% with a 2030 revenue target of $2 billion. Trex is increasing investment in marketing, digital tools, simplified products and a new sales model; the plans are intended to drive organic growth and margin improvement despite short-term start-up and marketing costs. » More on de.investing.com
Trex beats revenue forecast in Q2 2026, stock falls in premarket trading
Trex reported net revenue of $418 million in the second quarter, an increase of 8% and 5.15% above expectations, while adjusted EPS of $0.62 met the consensus. The company raised its full-year outlook for adjusted gross margin to about 38% and generated $182 million of free cash flow, of which $51 million was used for buybacks and $130 million for debt reduction. Despite strong demand across all segments, product mix, startup costs at the Little Rock plant and temporary manufacturing inefficiencies weighed on margins, causing the stock to fall about 3% in premarket trading. Trex expects revenue of $305â320 million for Q3 and an adjusted gross margin in the mid-37% range; management plans further buybacks, debt paydown and a phased ramp-up of the Little Rock plant. » More on de.investing.com
