United Therapeutics: patent win against Liquidia strengthens outlook despite appeal
United Therapeutics won a preliminary patent ruling against Liquidia, which would ease competition for the PH-ILD indication in favor of Tyvaso. Liquidia plans to appeal, so the ruling is not yet final. Competitor Liquidia had rapidly gained market share with Yutrepia since June 2025 and generated $170.4 million in Q2, while Tyvaso sales fell 4% to $452.6 million. The patent victory is seen as an important step toward paving the way to a $1,000 price target for United Therapeutics. » More on finanzen.net

At the Morgan Stanley Healthcare Conference United Therapeutics announced a strategic shift from a pulmonary hypertension specialist to a leading pulmonary fibrosis provider. The company is simultaneously expanding sales, commercial infrastructure and a broader Tyvaso portfolio (DPI, Soft‑Mist); the stock then rose slightly to $502.70. » More on de.investing.com
