Zealand Pharma has sold its economic rights to Rusfertide to Royalty Pharma for $100 million. Zealand retains a residual royalty of 0.25% on annual worldwide net sales above $1.5 billion, and Royalty Pharma receives 0.75% above that threshold. The FDA has set a target date for the approval application in the third quarter of 2026, and Takeda will take over worldwide commercialization. » More on de.investing.com
Jefferies downgrade pushes Zealand Pharma shares lower
Jefferies downgraded Zealand Pharma from "Buy" to "Hold" and cut the price target from 505 DKK to 320 DKK, a decline of about 37%. The analyst house cited a lack of near‑term catalysts and reduced the success probability for survodutide from 60% to 40% due to ongoing tolerability concerns after Phase III data. With no company‑specific news, the downgrade was the main driver of the share drop; a short‑term recovery now depends largely on progress with petrelintide. » More on de.investing.com
