ADvTECH surpasses 1 billion ZAR operating profit for first time in H1 2026

South African education group ADvTECH reported H1 2026 revenue up 8% to 5.1 billion ZAR and operating profit up 14%, exceeding 1 billion ZAR for the first time. Operating margin improved to 22%, normalized earnings per share rose 16%, and the interim dividend was increased 18% to 0.53 ZAR; a 1% share buyback was initiated. Strong growth came from the tertiary division with enrollments up 19%, while the resourcing segment remained under pressure following the closure of USAID.
