Morgan Stanley downgrades Daimler Truck to equal-weight and raises target price
Morgan Stanley downgraded Daimler Truck from overweight to equal-weight and raised the target price from €47 to €50. The bank cites a tactical downgrade due to profit-taking after an approximately 50% rally and the ninth month of the North American truck order cycle, which analysts view as close to its peak. At the same time, Morgan Stanley raised its earnings forecasts for 2027 and 2028 and expects rising margins in North America, but sees a less attractive risk-reward profile. Other sector ratings remained mostly unchanged, with minor target-price adjustments for PACCAR, Volvo and Traton. » More on de.investing.com

The analyst simultaneously raised the price target for Daimler Truck to €50 and pointed to significantly improved margins in North America that justify higher estimates through 2028.
